here’s a compilation of different people driving box trucks into a low bridge over and over

It’s worth knowing a few fun facts, courtesy of 11foot8.com:

  • They can’t raise the bridge because it’s a train trestle, and raising it would require closing and modifying miles of busy track.
  • They can’t lower the road because it’s directly over a sewer main.
  • They can’t ban trucks entirely because there are too many local deliveries.
  • That section of road has a speed limit of 25 mph, numerous signs alerting drivers to the 11’8" limit, and recently they added a sensor that activates the stoplight and a flashing “overheight warning” sign so that drivers have to stop and think really hard about going forward.
  • The clearance is actually nearly three inches more than 11’8", the maximum deviation from the signage allowed.
  • Trucks have been getting stuck or damaged since the 1960s.

The guy who runs the website (and owns the cameras) says he sees a lot more trucks pull up to the stoplight, look at the warnings, and turn off onto the side road, but about once a month, someone hits the bridge.

except he’s fucking superman so the bullets just fell off his chest into his lunch and clark just had to pretend nothing happened and hope lois wouldn’t notice that someone just fucking shot him

the hitman thinks maybe he just missed and gets ready to shoot him again, but then he’s watching through the scope as clark starts to eat the fucking bullets to hide the fucking evidence, acting like everything is totally normal as he noshes down on lead

its wild to me that there are people out there who can actually complain about getting bad service. like, did you know if your package is late on amazon prime and you contact customer service they’ll give you a free month of Prime and a five dollar credit? ANY time that one of your packages is late? because I sure as fuck didn’t! Daisy sucks and is just a recolor of peach i dont make the rules

okay but this Nolan guy must be pretty blind to think that daisy is just a recolor of peach, like man have you seen her design? let me show you what a recolor is:

Now is we look at them from side to side, we can point out a lot of differences:

  • the hair: Peach’s is longer than Daisy’s, and their fringes are very different.
  • the face shape: Peach having a more slim face while daisy is rounder
  • the features:
    • Peach has a small mouth with plump lips and smaller round eyes.
    • Daisy has bigger eyes that are a bit sharper than Peach’s, her mouth is bigger and has smaller lips.
    • Both of them have a different number of eyelashes too, which are a good design choice since they also help you see the eye shape even better.

Now for the clothes, if you count daisy’s design as a recolor of peach because of similarities in the outfits then i’m sorry but you’re legally obligated to call Luigi a recolor of Mario, because they’re literally wearing the same outfit with differences in the colors. But you sure call Luigi his own character, right? 

Mario and Luigi had this iconic look for many many years, we like it, love it, and no one ever complained.

Meanwhile, Peach and Daisy might have a very similar dress, but each one have smaller details in their outfit choices, like an extra frill at the bottom of Daisy’s dress, Peach having arm length gloves and Daisy’s are hand length. The neck of daisy’s dress was designed to imitate the petals of daisies, and finally  their jewels, The crown is mandatory princess protocol, and while peach goes for a more simple design Daisy’s jewels are shaped like flowers to make justice to her own name (and because she also loves flowers).

To finish this off, if you use the excuse “mario and luigi are brothers!!!! brothers can dress the same if they want, its not weird” you need to consider that Daisy is Peache’s cousin, this is officially mentioned in the Prima Guide for Mario Kart Wii, which are approved and licenced by Nintendo, but it hasn’t been addressed in games yet. When i was a kid i used to dress exactly the same as my cousin when i visited her, we loved to match clothes and it was fun, Mario and Luigi are adults and still matching clothes together, so there’s no reason why Peach and Daisy can’t match.
