I can’t help it! It’s such a cute inclusion! I wish every monster-raising game had something as cute as this!
Don’t leave her out of Sun and Moon, Game Freak! I’ll check my Pokemon’s memories every other day as soon as I get to her/his city!
Ah, have they ever been male, though? I don’t think they have…
(captions~)
And so, Sir Sleeves’ Attacking Stats are even once more!
Also, I send Washua off to the box with a few more TMs…
(captions~)
So basically I swapped between more Attack EVs and Audino for my training today. I’m worried that it’s impossible to keep the Attack stats even now, though…
Bonus Feebas:
“Oh Arceus! It’s a Feebas! So rare!” Aria shouted, excited.
Sir Sleeves, on the other hand, didn’t seem impressed at all.
(I was still in the mindset of Feebas having it’s six spots in this route, so this shocked me! I looked it up properly later, but I still caught him.
After I caught him, though, I encountered three or four Feebas in a row.)
(I couldn’t quite remember how the Undertale enemy’s name was spelled, but I tried.)
“Well, I don’t need to Surf to train Sir Sleeves right now, but you can stay in the team for now if you want, Wash,” Aria told the fish, patting him on the head.
“Well, that’s kind of okay, huh?” Aria mumbled.
(I’m so confused about which color on the stat screen means which, I don’t even care anymore.)
– Birdo is a rival villain. Shows up all the time to fight the Mega-cal’s, right-hand man to main villain. The one that bows and is subservient when in presence of Big Bad, but brags about how high up he is in Big Bad’s ranks to the Mega-cals Can make the sky go red, which stops time so the Mega-cal’s can fight without harming others. (That’s clearly not the real reason he does that, though. He just likes the world being as red as he sees it. He’s still the EAB, after all!)
– Mogu Nama was taken in by the villain after he destroyed his neighborhood because of bullying. (the reason for the bullying being obvious) He is considered, by the Big Bad, his most powerful minion. Aria is convinced that she can convert this tough-hearted Mega-cal back to her side, but she doesn’t know his past in this Pokemon-led Pokemon world, so it won’t work the first few times. Eventually Aria’s assured attitude will get to her.
– The Snivy Knights is an organization of Snivy-line Pokemon and other non-Mega capable Pokemon that also fight against the darkness using knight standards. Founded by Tomoya, my Serperior from Pokemon Black, before he was lost in an experimental void (Gaster-style) that was supposed to lead to the human-led Pokemon World (A.K.A. the main Pokemon games). (In the actual game, I saved after I used a code that gave me an error every time I open the PC. Tomoya was in Box 2 and was unable to be saved with PokeBank like some other Pokemon in that game were.) [Probably slightly influenced by that one Knight-like organization in Ben 10 that I barely remember and never saw any important episodes about? Possibly.]
– Sir Snipes-a-lot is a reckless knight, popular with the younger recruits. He still has his mate Vidalia, but she is not an active member of the organization. She’s probably a chef or has some other behind-the-scenes role. Rosalina is part of this organization and trains hard. Her and Mogu Nama have never met in this AU, but they eventually cross each other and slow-blossoming love begins to bloom. (Whoa, too many flower metaphors!) Sir Sleeves is a rookie that is eventually befriended by the Mega-cals. Aria doesn’t approve of civilians like them fighting wars in the beginning, but warms up to Sleeves once Grace begins to take him under her wing.
– Both Grace and Frosslass Sass (most likely just called FS) are Aria’s Mega-cal partners from the other world (the actual Alpha Sapphire game) and they search for the ‘other versions’ of Aria’s Mega-compatible Pokemon in the new world. Ramiro is one of those other versions. He’s a high school student in this Pokemon-led Pokemon World, but his destiny is still to become a NEET.
– Krouser came to this world as well, but he became a deity and was only able to provide support for the Mega-cals when they pray. In reality, he’s just (1) trapped in a higher plane, (2) doesn’t want to ruin another region [awww, the prankster realizes he did something wrong!], and (3) is just too lazy to actually fight. (The prayer thing is a lie, btw! He can provide support whenever!)
– The Big Bad might either be Groudon or a Balleater/Deoxys-possessed Dalworth. Actually, that second one sounds amazingly cool!
Oh, if I could only draw this! Imagining a Mega-cal outfit for Frosslass is hilarious! All I can imagine is a cape or a veil/crown sort of thing, but if she’s going to be the ‘loud Russian girl’-trope, a la Abbey Bominable, I’m not sure what she would get! Russian people, please suggest!
+ The obvious twist would be Ramiro learning that, in the other world, humans train Pokemon and then he’d come to the same conclusion as N… Oh man, this is great!
Bonus Badly-Drawn Image of Balleater possessing Dalworth:
(Note: This was first drawn without reference and then was edited with a reference at hand. + It was drawn on an iPhone in the Notes App.)
I really tried, I swear. I’m 22.
Balleater had a huge head with cat ears and I edited it when I pulled up serebii, but I didn’t want to remove the hilarious cat ears. Canon: Balleater has a tragic backstory where a little kid gave him headband cat ears and he never takes them off
